If you’re a small business owner, you have likely heard at least one person suggest that you learn SEO (search engine optimization) and implement an online strategy for your business. After all, most people first look to the internet – either on their smartphones or computers – to find any business or service. Seriously, what is worse than staring at a blank page waiting for it to load? The page speed is a huge ranking factor when it comes to search engines. Google’s latest update had a heavy focus on the user experience and site speed can undoubtedly affect this. This means that search engines look at page speed and provide ranking advantages to faster matches. Common sense, right? Text without headings is terrible to read. Headings and subheadings are the most important anchor points a reader has in the text. People tend to read those more carefully and use headings to determine what a text is about. If your target is international try to get links from sites hosted in as many different countries as possible. The same is true if you target local audiences, get as many links from sites hosted in the country you target.

Revel in constraints (not restraints)

Backlinks from relevant sites in your niche will be worth significantly more than ones from irrelevant sites or webpages. Some people believe that links from competitors for the same search position as you are worth more than others too. Search engines aren't good at Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths or ABC. Its that simple! completing online forms (such as a login), and thus any content contained behind them may remain hidden. Your competitors can be a goldmine of information that can inform every aspect of your marketing and rocket your website’s traffic. Make sure your backlinks appear to be natural. Don’t ask webmasters to link back to your pages with a specific anchor text since this can haphazardly result in a pattern that may get noticed by search engines and cause you to get a linking penalty.

Design a link-earning strategy

Cloaking refers to an attempt to boost search result rankings by serving different content to Googlebot than to regular users. This causes problems such as less relevant results (pages appear in search results even though their content is actually unrelated to what users see/want), so Google takes cloaking very seriously. Search engine algorithms are designed to detect content that was written for the sole purpose of boosting search engine traffic. Search engines use links to crawl the web. Crawlers will flow from links between the internal individual pages on your website and they will crawl the links between different websites. Google scores ‘fresh content’ that’s updated regularly in a different way to a news article that doesn’t change.

Brainstorming and Keyword Generating

There are a number of tools that let you check how many links are pointing to a site and what the authority of those pages are. Unfortunately none of them are perfect — the only way to know what links are pointing to your site is to have crawled those pages. Your page title should be naturally descriptive and contain the right keywords. Most SEOs place this near the top in terms of ranking power. It's also important to ensure the title is catchy because this tag is what Google often shows in the search results. This means make it click-worthy! And the fact is all of your copy needs to be buttoned up. You need a lot of keywords that are worked in naturally without keyword stuffing. Rich snippets are designed to help search engines better understand what information is on a particular webpage. This is done through structure data markup on the back-end of the page. Even though snippets don't play a direct role in rankings, they can work wonders on a website's click through rate. Gaz Hall, an SEO Expert from the UK, said: "Cloaking is a method which gives search engines the impression that a website carries content that is different to what users actually see:"

If you link to other websites, make sure that these websites are reliable and respectable

Learning search engine optimization can be overwhelming at first. There is a lot to wrap your mind around. But becoming proficient in SEO is definitely an achievable undertaking. When a brand fails to work on good customer service, the implications can be so dire to the extent of bringing down a company. Use simple and obvious terms that are easy to understand. Use descriptive captions and avoid generic captions such as 'Products' or 'Services'. You can and should use keywords that are related to your business in the captions as long as they make sense. Find relevant, high authority sites that partly or completely cover your niche. In Google search, the first 10 results probably belong to high authority sites.
